Botanical Beauty Labs Super-Duper All-Purpose Face Wash

For all skin types:

1/2 cup powdered milk
1/8 cup brown sugar
10
Papaya Enzyme tablets finely crushed
2 tablespoons
Vitamin C crystals (or equivalent in finely crushed tablets)
10 drops
lavender essential oil
10 drops
rosemary essential oil

To prepare:
Mix powdered milk and brown sugar until well blended. Ensure that papain and vitamin c tablets are finely crushed and mix well into milk and sugar. One drop at a time, incorporate essential oils into mixture evenly. Rub oils into dry mixture with clean fingers to ensure that they are evenly distributed throughout the mixture. Finished mixture should be resemble coarse ground cornmeal with an even texture. If mixture clumps, spread out to dry, then blend thoroughly in a food processor or blender.  Store in tightly closed jar.

To use:
Scoop out 1to 2 tablespoons of face wash mixture into a small container (I use 3 oz. Disposable bathroom cups) and add enough very hot water to produce a thin slurry. Mix well and let sit for a few minutes until cool enough to apply. Pin hair up out of the way, and using a cotton cosmetic pad, apply the mixture to face and throat, rubbing gently in small circles. Allow mixture to stay on skin for a minute or two, then remove with warm water. If you're planning on showering, apply the face wash before turning on shower, to give the ingredient time to work on your skin.

Description:
Powdered milk provides lactic acid, which is a gentle cleanser that removes dirt and dead skin cells.  Brown sugar contains glycolic acid, which also helps to remove dead skin cells and has been clinically shown to improve skin texture and reduce wrinkles. Papain enzyme works to dissolve toughened skin fibers. Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) works to remove dead skin cells as well as feeding anti-oxidants into the tissues. Lavendar and rosemary contain ursoic acid, shown to improve signs of photoaging and is currently used in Japan to help prevent melanomas.
